MoodWeb
Hey there :-)
Moodweb is a small ambient HTML5 scene I made for moments where you just want something calm on screen.
This first public version focuses on one cozy scene: **Winter Coffee Window**.
You sit inside, close to a warm wooden window sill. Outside there is snow, mountains, little houses, and a cold winter view. Inside there is a sleeping cat, a steaming cup, soft light, and a playlist of reduced web mixes for the browser.
It is not really a game in the classic sense. There are no scores, no quests, no pressure. It is more like a small interactive mood window you can leave open while working, writing, relaxing, or just needing a quiet visual break.
## What is included
- one high-resolution cozy winter window scene
- subtle ambient animations
- a sleeping cat
- a steaming cup
- automatic slow scene movement
- a compact music HUD with playlist, mute, and music info
- source links for the playlist
## Music
The music in this release uses reduced browser web mixes.
Music is licensed by artist **Yossaya** via **Plattenlabel2go**:

The app also includes YouTube source links inside the playlist/info area.
## Browser note
Some browsers block unmuted autoplay at first. If the music does not start immediately, click once inside the page and Moodweb will try again.
## Plans for Moodweb 2.0
For 2.0 I would like to move Moodweb from a single cozy scene into a deeper layered ambience system.
The current idea is to treat the window panes almost like subtle futuristic individual screens: each pane could have its own depth, glass effect, quiet flicker, or even briefly show another cozy micro-scene.
The main direction for 2.0:
- more depth through real parallax layers
- window panes as separate masked scene areas
- rare pane flickers or alternate cozy views
- more modular animated assets instead of flat complete images
- more scenes and moods
- better authored animation plates for things like steam, snow, lights, and small idle details
- still cozy first, futuristic second
I do not want Moodweb to become loud, overloaded, or gamified just for the sake of adding features. The goal is still the same: a calm little mood space that feels warm, polished, and alive.
Have Fun!
Yossaya
